Austin Miller
Austin joined Baskin Richards in the fall of 2016. Austin graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in May of 2016. While in law school, Austin served as an Articles Editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. He stayed very active in law school, and participated in student groups and organizations, including the Intellectual Property Student Association and the Center for Law, Science, and Technology. Austin also worked as a research assistant for one of his professors, Dr. Gary Marchant, helping him study the use of brain scans in homicide cases. In addition to his academic achievements, Austin has a passion for helping others, and graduated law school with Pro Bono Distinction in recognition of his many hours of pro bono work.
Austin also graduated law school with a certificate in Law, Science, and Technology, with specializations including Health Law. Before being admitted to the Bar, Austin served as an intern at Baskin Richards, helping the firm in complex cases related to healthcare civil rights. Before entering law school, Austin attended college at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and maintains a strong interest in the life sciences. He has both worked and volunteered in doctor’s offices, hospitals, and healthcare clinics.
